The Peer Learning Network initiated by WeCAN are off and running in Idaho, Montana and Wyoming. The groups are meeting monthly, with topics chosen by the rural leader peer group. So far in 2021 topics have included: Broadband internet access in rural Idaho and marketing rural communities with members of the Choteau, MT community sharing their branding and videos created in part with mini-grant funding from WeCAN. A survey will be distributed among the three state network to determine what topics are of highest importance, how communities can engage with one another and share stories of pandemic related issues and success.
The Peer Learning Network is open to rural community members in each member state, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
